Tekirdag, Ergene Municipality

We are Ergene Municipality located in Tekirdağ and are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our residents in a peaceful and clean environment. The district, located on one of the wide plains of Thrace, has a structure suitable for agriculture and industry. With its climate, where four seasons are experienced, not too humid, and where many plants can grow, corn, sunflower, canola, wheat, barley, and watermelon are among the preferred plants.

Ergene River has a critical structure for the most important water agriculture and agricultural activities of the district and industry. However, the river has been known for environmental problems for years due to pollution caused by intensive industrial activities. There are 5 industrial zones within the district's borders, which are faced with environmental problems brought about by industrialization. Ergene stands out as one of the most important industrial centers of Tekirdağ with its number of industrial facilities, employment power, and strategic location.
