About me
Sara Eloy is an Architect, currently teaching adaptive reuse of modernist buildings. Eloy employs emerging digital technologies to address societal challenges related to inclusion and justice in the built environment. She sees digital technologies as pivotal for innovative approaches. Her research extends to African shared heritage, aiming to enhance living conditions, and she explores space perception. Eloy is the co-PI of research project GreenCity4Aging (https://greencity4aging-iscte.hub.arcgis.com/)whichwhich) studies how older people perceive green streets in urban context with the ultimate goal of improving current policy.
Eloy is an Associate Professor at the University of Antwerp and the head of Henry van de Velde research group (https://www.uantwerpen.be/en/research-groups/henry-van-de-velde/)..)
Eloy's leadership and involvement in both national and international research projects are complemented by numerous high-ranking journal publications and curation of exhibitions.
