Participant

Service systems designer working with Circularity Centre Denmark to turn circular economy theory into citizen‑driven urban practice. Also love eating cake.

My organisation

Circularity Centre Denmark (CCD) is a knowledge hub that supports businesses, communities, and public actors in translating circular economy ambitions into real-world action. We work at the intersection of design, systems thinking, and behaviour change to make circular practices part of everyday life. Instead of reinventing the wheel, we focus on sharing existing knowledge, tools, and frameworks, and helping others apply them in context. CCD offers consulting, facilitates cross-sector collaboration, and curates a free online library of circular tools and cases. We act as a connector, bringing together research, practice, and local initiatives to strengthen the transition to circular systems across Denmark and beyond. Our approach is rooted in human-centred design, with a belief that system change only happens when solutions work for real people in real situations. Whether you're a business looking to adapt, a community project ready to scale, or a public body exploring new circular pathways, CCD is here to support and learn with you.

About me

I’m a service systems designer from the Netherlands, based in Copenhagen. I specialise in human-centred approaches to circular economy and urban transitions. My work bridges systems thinking and hands-on experimentation, with a focus on turning research and business strategies into everyday action.

I currently lead Circularity Centre Denmark (CCD), a knowledge hub supporting businesses and communities in translating circular ambitions into real-world change. In recent years, I’ve designed circular services, led engagement processes, and facilitated cross-sector collaboration.

With a professional background that includes emergency response, finance, and entrepreneurship, I bring a grounded understanding of human behaviour and decision-making into the design process. I’m motivated by building scalable, human-centred solutions to environmental and social challenges, and by working with partners who share that drive.
