About me

She is currently working on her PhD at the School of Architecture, University of Minho, having obtained a research grant from MIT-Portugal/FCT (SFRH/BD/151416/2021). She has a degree in Architecture from the University of Coimbra (completed in December 1998) and a master's degree in "Planning and Design of the Urban Environment" from the Faculties of Architecture and Engineering of the University of Porto (completed in July 2004).

She`s also the Head of Mobility Department at the Municipality of Braga, Portugal.

She has also completed the following complementary courses:

- Escola Superior Agrária de Ponte de Lima - IPVC, having taught in the Urban and Rural Planning curricular unit, in the Master's Course in Environmental Management and Spatial Planning and in the CTeSP in Risks and Civil Protection and Geoinformatics and Natural Resources Management (2008-2024).

- In occasional undergraduate and master's classes at the University of Minho, in the School of Engineering and Architecture;

- University of Para - Belém, in the extension project "CIDADE PARA TODOS: workshops for popular participation in urban mobility planning" - PIBEX of the Pro-Rectory of Extension - PROEX/UFPA, 

- in UC class: modul 5 "analyse des Bestandes"; SRH University Heidleberg, School of Engineering and Architecture - Germany (online).

- She was a jury member for several master's and bachelor's degree presentations at IPVC and the University of Minho.

The incessant articulation of the theoretical component of research with practical application in the territory is consummated in the coherence of the various activities and in the publications and articles that it develops, highlighting the most recent publications of articles in the Future Transportation magazine and book chapters in IOP, publishing, addressing issues of mobility.
