About me
Nan Bai currently works as an Assistant Professor in the section Heritage & Architecture, Department of Architectural Engineering and Technology, Faculty Architecture and Built Environment at Delft University and Technology. Previously, he worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow in the Public Administration and Policy Group at Wageningen University & Research. He obtained his PhD (cum laude) at the UNESCO Chair of Heritage and Values of TU Delft. He also participated in the HERILAND Project in the European Union as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher. With a multi-disciplinary background in architecture, psychology, heritage studies, big data analysis, and applied artificial intelligence, Nan always has a broad interest in the application of computational social science in historic urban settings with heritage values and attributes, especially the perceptions reflected from the posting behavior on social media.
