Kristin Tovaas

Since 2014, I've been conducting research and coordinating EU-funded Research & Innovation Action projects, driven by a passion for making cities and regions more inclusive, accessible, and equitable for everyone. My work focuses on sustainable mobility, particularly the social dimensions of transport, participatory processes, and co-creation for active, shared and multimodal mobility. I’ve conducted research on good practices and process evaluation in urban pilot projects, developed policy recommendations and roadmaps, and facilitated knowledge exchange between cities and regions. I also serve as a rapporteur for the Thematic Group Mobility within the European Conference of Transport Research Institutes (ECTRI).
