About me

Senior Lecturer in the Built Environment (Architecture) at the University of Derby, UK; RIBA Chartered Member; Diploma in Architecture, Florence, Italy; MA in Interior Design, Manchester Metropolitan University; PhD by Published Works, University of Derby. Main research interests include biophilic design, human behavior in urban spaces, gender issues, social justice, and the regeneration of neighborhoods, as well as the history of people, art, and architecture. Currently applying Biophilia concepts to live projects, pursuing validation of the Biophilic Healing Index as a professional tool within a professional evaluation framework.
