About me

PhD Architect (2015) and MSc in Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design (2011), University of Alicante. Associate Professor in the Area of Urban Planning and Spatial Planning, and Head of the Master's Degree in Architecture at the University of Alicante.

My research analyses the socio-functional structure of urban systems by integrating land uses, activity patterns and open geolocated data (POIs), aimed at delimiting functional urban areas and informing urban regeneration.

Member of the research group Urban Design and Regional Planning in Coastal Areas, the Institute for Tourism Research (IUIT), and co-founder of Mappingame Lab.
