Energy Communities & Local Energy Transition Strategies and Projects

Lucas Anton Losada

Corporate Officer at Senda Sostenible

Madrid, Madrid, Spain

About

Senda Sostenible is dedicated to promote, launch and develop Energy Communities in Spain, through turnkey projects taking care of everything if the client wishes so, under a new model of generation, distribution and consumption of more efficient and sustainable local renewable energy, where people, local companies and public institutions are the protagonists and adopt a central role.

We focus on carrying out these projects mainly through collective self-consumption, but also incorporating other approaches and technologies, such as: energy storage, sustainable mobility (electric vehicle charging points and fleet renewal), demand aggregation, agrivoltaics, or biomass management and explotation.

We create the ecosystem that better favors the creation of the Energy Community, going through previous phases of social dinamization involving jointly the Public Administration, companies and citizens, and where the Energy Community can grow through different responsible socially-oriented projects of renewable energies and energy efficiency.

Although our main focus are the Energy Communities, we also work on the promotion, design and development of Local Energy Transition Strategies and Projects in Spain, such as collective self-consumption, efficiency and optimization of shared energy, or Energy/Community Transformation Offices.

Below you can find a non-exhaustive list of the services we offer around these projects:

  • Energy Community potential analysis, definition and advice.

  • Study, design and construction of photovoltaic self-consumption projects, as well as other technologies/approaches (energy storage, sustainable mobility, demand aggregation, agrivoltaics, biomass management and explotation).

  • Technical, economical and legal modeling of projects.

  • Legal and administrative support for the constitution and management of projects.

  • Access to competitive financing to cover up to 100% of any investment.

  • Application and management of grants for projects.

  • Day-to-day commercial and operational management of projects.
