Railway Innovation Hub

We are a nationwide business association belonging to the railway sector. Located at Málaga TechPark – Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía, we have a clear mission: to drive the railway sector internationally. To achieve this, we use tools such as collaborative R&D project generation, dissemination of technology and know-how, provision of specialised services, and the organisation of events and networking.

We have more than 85 member companies representing the entire sector value chain, including leading companies as well as key players in innovation and technology transfer, universities, technology centres, railway infrastructure managers and operators, and the Agencia de Obra Pública of the Junta de Andalucía, which manages the metros of Granada, Málaga and Seville. We also have a protocol signed with MITMA and ADIF that allows us to maintain close collaboration, among other agreements with metros and tram systems.

Our pillars of action are based on steering innovation towards the market and fostering innovation in mobility, from knowledge generation to the promotion of R&D and technology transfer:
- Generating knowledge in strategic areas through the definition of Strategic Lines (BIM, station of the future, hydrogen, artificial intelligence, sustainability).
- Developing collaborative R&D&I projects to provide new technological solutions for the market.
- Bringing those solutions closer to the market.
- Training actions.
