ESA BIC Andalusia / Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC)

ESA BIC Andalusia is the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Centre in the Andalusia region, operated by the Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies (CATEC) with the support of the Spanish Space Agency, the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Seville City Council.

As part of ESA’s largest space innovation network across Europe, ESA BIC Andalusia supports startups leveraging space technologies, satellite data and space-derived know-how to develop scalable solutions for terrestrial markets, as well as companies providing innovative products and services to the space sector.

The incubator offers a comprehensive support package including financial incentives, technical assistance, business mentoring, access to testing facilities and laboratories, and connection to ESA’s pan-European ecosystem of industry, research centres and investors.

Based in Seville, ESA BIC Andalusia plays a key role in strengthening the regional and national space innovation ecosystem, fostering deeptech entrepreneurship, accelerating technology transfer and promoting the development of high-impact ventures across sectors such as mobility, energy, logistics, sustainability and advanced industry.
