Mentheris – Researching the Human-Technology Gap
Founder & Principal Researcher (PhD) at Mentheris
Bucharest, Romania
About
Mentheris is a research firm focused on the human-technology gap: the growing divide between the pace of technological advancement and the capacity of humans to meaningfully adopt, integrate, and benefit from it.
In the dual-use and defence innovation landscape, this gap is particularly consequential. Technologies developed under the European Defence Fund and related programmes often face their greatest barriers not in the lab, but in the human and organisational systems that must receive them.
Mentheris investigates:
-
Why adoption fails, or stalls, even when the technology works
-
How organisations can be better prepared for technology integration
-
What human and systemic factors determine whether innovation translates into real capability
We are actively building research partnerships and consortia for Horizon Europe and EDF-funded projects, contributing expertise in the human and organisational dimensions of technology adoption.
Looking to connect with: R&D partners, SMEs and large industry actors developing dual-use technologies, and consortium builders who recognise that human readiness is as critical as technical readiness.
