About

We support companies in developing and validating advanced construction materials and solutions with clear dual-use potential. We are particularly interested in topics where construction materials and infrastructure technologies can contribute to stronger resilience, safety, and long-term performance of critical and urban infrastructure.

CTCON can contribute through the design, formulation and scale-up of innovative, sustainable, and high-performance materials—covering pavements and asphalt mixtures, cement-based systems (mortars, concrete and coatings), permeable and drainage solutions, protective and retrofit systems, and climate-adaptive construction applications. We are especially interested in developments addressing durability under extreme conditions, structural integrity, multi-hazard resistance (e.g., floods, heatwaves, seismic events, landslides), rapid recovery after disruptive events, and the safe integration of green and smart technologies (sensing, monitoring, data-driven maintenance) into the built environment.

With strong capabilities in material characterization, mechanical and durability testing, validation in pilot/real environments, and sustainability/circularity assessment (including LCA/TEA when relevant), CTCON is well-positioned particularly where the scope includes a significant focus on construction materials, resilient infrastructure, and dual-use innovation pathways.
