Tier-1 Systems Engineering for Dual-Use Consortia

FERCHAU Spain is a Tier-1 engineering firm acting as the critical integration bridge for dual-use, civil security, and defense consortia (EDF, Horizon Europe CL3/CL4).

Within European projects, we do not develop base algorithms or manufacture physical hardware. Instead, we provide the advanced systems engineering required to scale disruptive technologies (AI, Quantum, Advanced Sensors) from lab environments up to TRL 5-6 in complex, high-risk operational scenarios.

Our specific capabilities for dual-use consortia include:

• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Rigorous system architecture design and requirements management to eliminate logical integration risks between different Work Packages and consortium partners.

• Cybersecurity & Quantum Systems Architecture: Applying security-by-design principles to model and integrate advanced cyber-defense protocols and post-quantum technologies into tactical networks, managing system-level vulnerabilities prior to physical deployment.

• Virtual Validation (SiL) & Digital Twins: Software-in-the-Loop validation and tactical simulation to thoroughly test AI algorithms and secure systems before any physical deployment.

• Edge & High-Risk Architectures: Designing the logical frameworks required for systems to operate in adversarial, denied, or zero-connectivity environments.

We are seeking to join consortia led by Primes, RTOs, or technology developers who require a robust engineering partner to manage the logical architecture and systems integration of their proposals.
