About
The 3D Printing & Visualisation Centre at the University of Pécs is an interdisciplinary hub focusing on advanced 3D technologies, integrating imaging, modeling, and additive manufacturing across multiple application domains, with a strong emphasis on healthcare. The Centre provides expertise in patient-specific design, surgical planning, and prototyping, while also supporting broader industrial and research use cases.
It actively participates in EU and national RDI projects and operates at the interface of healthcare, engineering, and digital innovation, with a focus on collaborative development and translational applications.
The 3D Centre also contributes to educational innovation and curriculum development through the creation of simulation-based training tools, in-house educational systems, VR applications, and other digital solutions supporting experiential and simulation-driven learning environments.
The Centre is a founder member of Centre for Advanced Medical Technology at the Medical School, University of Pécs.
