Research Facility visit
The WiSAR Lab is the ATU Strategic Research Centre for ICT. Join us for an afternoon exploring disruptive AI and IoT innovation in action. At the centre of our showcase is a cloud-free voice assistant — private, fully offline, and independent of any third-party cloud provider, putting control back in the hands of the user.
As part of the Data2Sustain European Digital Innovation Hub, WiSAR also works with SMEs across Ireland on real-world Test Before Invest projects, including smart sheep tracking that alerts farmers when their flock is being worried by dogs, remote water pump monitoring for humanitarian partners in Uganda, wearable smart patch devices for care settings, and the application of blockchain technology.
Visitors will tour our lab facilities, including our anechoic chamber and see live demonstrations of edge computing, sensor networks, and cloud-connected device architectures, with the WiSAR team on hand to discuss how businesses can de-risk and test new technology before committing to full investment.
