DIH4CAT supports companies in testing and experimenting with Artificial Intelligence technologies.

Eurecat is responsible for the operational coordination of CIDAI, the Centre of Innovation for Data Tech and Artificial Intelligence, which — as part of the Catalonia.AI strategy — serves as a networked service centre to promote knowledge transfer, joint projects and the adoption of data and AI technologies. Artificial Intelligence is a technology that is based on the combination of data optimization and software algorithms and computational capacity so that computers can be able to learn and make decisions with a certain degree of autonomy. CIDAI, as coordinator of the Artificial Intelligence node, is willing to support SMEs to develop and implement digital solutions in order to increase their competitiveness. We devise and conduct innovation workshops to pinpoint tech-based solutions to diverse challenges (business, government, etc.) and draw up a roadmap to prioritise solutions and find ways to implement them. We host events such as hackathons, provide enterprises and organisations with a simple technological maturity self-assessment tool, and have a map of businesses, institutions and organisations working in AI and data in Catalonia. We are able to offer multidisciplynary solutions with the objective of solving a particular challenge that it is still unresolved throught market solutions.
