Eda – Enterprise Development Agency is an independent, non-profit development organization from Bosnia and Herzegovina, dedicated to improving the competitiveness, sustainability and resilience of SMEs, public institutions and local communities. For more than 25 years, Eda has been providing practical support, research, policy development and capacity building to help businesses and institutions grow, innovate and adapt to economic, technological and societal changes.

Through a combination of applied research, advisory services, training and co-creation with key stakeholders, Eda supports the design and implementation of development policies, digital and green transition initiatives, workforce upskilling programmes and local and regional development strategies. Eda has implemented 165 projects in cooperation with international organizations, governments, the private sector and academia, consistently delivering high-quality, measurable results.

Eda is a co-founder of the Digital Innovation Hub “Idemo”, which helps SMEs accelerate digital transformation, adopt advanced technologies and strengthen Industry 4.0/5.0 capabilities. The organisation is also active in EU-funded transnational projects (Interreg Europe, Erasmus+) with a strong focus on digitalisation, innovation support, BIM implementation in public administration and skills development.

Our long-term work includes strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, supporting digital skills development, fostering collaboration between businesses, universities and public institutions, and developing tools, methodologies and platforms that improve service delivery to SMEs.
