Combining business, science, and technology in an interdisciplinary way to bring predictability to agriculture and build resilience in changing environments.
My organisation
The Austrian Competence Centre for Feed and Food Quality, Safety and Innovation (FFoQSI) is a leading applied research center based in Tulln, Austria. Our mission is to drive the digital transformation of agri-food supply chains—from primary production to post-harvest processing and quality assurance—with a strong focus on resilience, sustainability, and technical excellence.
A key asset of FFoQSI is our in-house software development based on a standardized, modular platform architecture. This approach enables rapid development, interoperability, and reuse of components across various domains—from Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) to simulation-based decision support systems. Our interdisciplinary teams combine scientific rigor with agile development practices, translating research prototypes into validated, scalable applications.
We are actively seeking research partners and coordinators for Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and other EU funding programmes. Our key competencies include:
Artificial Intelligence and Explainable Machine Learning for agriculture, Resilience modeling in food and farming systems, Autonomous and robotic technologies, Sensor integration and real-time data analytics, Ethical and secure data governance frameworks, Software engineering based on open, interoperable standards
