About
The Economic Chamber of North Macedonia (ECNM), founded in 1922, is the country’s largest and oldest business organization, representing around 15,000 members—mostly SMEs—that generate over half of private sector revenue and employ a third of the workforce. As a member of ICC Paris, the Balkan Chambers Association, and a founding partner of the WB6 Chamber Investment Forum, ECNM plays a vital regional and international role.
With deep expertise in skills development, the Chamber translates market intelligence into actionable insights through surveys, research, and workshops, ensuring workforce training matches business needs. Initiatives like the Praksa platform strengthen ties between schools and employers, supporting work-based learning and smoother transitions into jobs.
ECNM also leads in digital upskilling, organizing more than 120 events annually for over 2,000 participants, targeting professionals across industries. Its Education and Training Center promotes digital literacy and tool proficiency, positioning digitalization as a driver of competitiveness and innovation.
As part of the European Digital Innovation Hub DigitMak, ECNM supports SMEs and public institutions in testing before investing, training, and accessing innovation ecosystems—advancing both digital and green transformation.
