Center Hospitalier Universitaire de Liège (CHUL) is an academic hospital attached to a full-cycle medical faculty in the Belgian Walloon region.

With more than one thousand beds, 4 inpatient sites, 8 outpatient sites and 6200 staƯ members, it provides secondary and tertiary care services to more than 1 million patients in all medical fields in Liège area.

Within the IT department, our digital health innovation unit has extensive experience in research projects in several innovation programs like Horizon Europe or Interreg. With our team of IT engineers and biomedical professionals, we stand as a one-stop shop to engage the organization and its clinical departments in digital health projects. Our expertise lies in stakeholder engagement through workshops or focus groups, clinical study management from protocol writing to study monitoring and assessment, as well as all aspects of health data processing encompassing data protection processes, anonymization, data extraction, data harmonization (FHIR, OMOP) and statistical analyses.
