The CER Groupe (Aye, Belgium) is certified ISO 9001, ISO 17025, GLP, and NLR. We operate over 12,500 m² of animal facilities, supporting preclinical studies in small and large animal species. All environments follow strict standards for hygiene, ethics, animal welfare, and biosecurity to meet regulatory expectations. We also manage more than 3,000 m² of laboratories for manufacturing and analytical services, fully equipped. Thanks to this integrated infrastructure and expertise, CER Groupe is a reliable partner for high‑quality and compliant preclinical development programs.

CER Groupe relies on multi-disciplinary teams and brings together more than 150 people, including over 60 researchers, offering strong scientific expertise and multidisciplinary support. Our teams collaborate closely with QA and operational units to ensure high quality, transparency, and responsiveness across all projects.

We have extensive experience in animal health, welfare, and the regulatory frameworks governing in vivo research, enabling us to deliver a broad range of preclinical and bioproduction services. These include pharmacodynamic model development and validation, Mechanism of action (MOA), regulatory studies (MTD, DRF, PK, TK, Toxicity, immunogenicity), polyclonal sera production, and robust analytical readouts. With more than 1,500 animal studies completed—about 20% under GLP—we support both biotech and pharmaceutical partners with scientific rigor and flexibility.

Complementing our in vivo capabilities, CER Groupe provides comprehensive in vitro preclinical services, including cytotoxicity, product characterization, and immunomodulation assays. We have experience working with a wide range of modalities, such as small molecules, ASOs, cell and gene therapies, exosomes/EVs, food supplements, recombinant proteins, novel foods, and medical devices.
