reseracher interested in alternatives for antibiotics. Mainly antimicrobial peptides to treat mastitis , but also other infectious diseases. Looking for companies interested in our invention (pitch on wednesday) to search for cooperation possibilities

About me

Assistant professor in biochemistry/immunology with >20 experience in antimicrobial peptide (AMP) research . My main focus is using AMPs as an alternative to antibiotic use in veterinary settings. In our group we recently discovered how certain AMPs work synergistically with D- amino acids making therapeutic use of AMPs in reach. Especially for the treatment of mastitis we have found a very active combination able to kill S. aureus and other mastitis causing pathogens in milk.
