AiF Projekt GmbH

On behalf of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs (BMWE), AiF Projekt GmbH is responsible for managing the cooperative projects within ZIM, the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs.

Since 1990, AiF Projekt GmbH has amassed a successful track record as a management agency for Germany’s federal SME-oriented funding programmes. The company provides a full range of services in advising innovative SMEs and their research partners on funding possibilities, accepting and evaluating project proposals, making funding decisions, disbursing funds, and examining project statements. In doing so, its in-house evaluators, specialized management agency expertise, and many years of practical knowledge ensure a consistently high level of quality.

AiF Projekt GmbH also supports SMEs in initiating and carrying out transnational cooperative projects through counseling, networking activities, and the usage of bilateral agreements with various countries. Furthermore, the company is responsible for coordinating the IraSME network, which announces calls for proposals twice a year with deadlines at the end of March and September.

Based on its current pool of 120 highly qualified and committed employees with years of experience in providing project management and other services to Germany’s innovative SMEs, AiF Projekt GmbH is seeking to acquire more contracts involving measures designed to fund innovation. In addition to its core competencies as a project management agency, AiF Projekt GmbH’s services range from finding job openings for engineers and scientists to identifying companies and research organizations for R&D projects. For many years, the company has also demonstrated its skill in organizing trade fairs, exhibitions, and similar events by hosting the BMWK’s annual Innovationstag Mittelstand on its own premises.
