About

Scrona’s CHF 15 million Series A2 financing round is focused on accelerating the commercialization and industrial rollout of its software-defined InkLogic micro-fabrication platform. The capital supports the transition from breakthrough deep-tech innovation to scalable industrial adoption, enabling deeper integration with leading semiconductor, display, and electronics equipment manufacturers worldwide. Proceeds are used to expand Gen3 InkLogic printhead deployments, advance multi-nozzle scaling toward >1,000-nozzle architectures, and strengthen software, process control, and reliability for high-volume manufacturing environments.

The round also funds global application and demo labs, customer integration projects, and the industrialization of Scrona’s in-house MEMS production, unlocking semiconductor-style economies of scale. In parallel, Scrona is building recurring revenue streams driven by consumable printheads, print engines, and software licensing.

Scrona enters Series A2 with exceptional commercial momentum in 2025: a 4× increase in channel partners, 12× growth in integration kit order entry, more than 150 printheads sold, and production tools installed across three continents. The company has expanded its global footprint with the opening of a Taiwan subsidiary and the signing of a distribution agreement in Korea, strengthening its presence in two of the world’s most important semiconductor regions.

As an ETH Zurich spin-out with a deep patent portfolio and the world’s first multi-nozzle InkLogic printhead on the market, Scrona’s Series A2 marks a clear inflection point from technology leadership to platform-scale commercialization.
