Philipp Herkelmann has 14 years experience as VC backed founder, investor in 40+ companies and led deep-tech program at Alphabet in Silicon Valley. He is a former Partner and MD of Entrepreneur First and has worked with companies from Singapore to San Francisco raising more than $100M in early funding. He co-initiated EU Inc, a pan-european grassroots movement to unify the startup ecosystem, backed by 600 VCs and 5000+ founders like Patrick Collison, Paul Graham, Ilkka Paananen that created worldwide media attention and awareness on EU level. EU Inc delivered an industry blueprint to the EU Commission on how a modern entity for modern Entrepreneurs in Europe should look like. The newly formed EU commission has agreed on the implementation on such an entity and framework.
