Acerca de mí
PhD in Pharmacy and Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA), where I lead the research group “INNOBIOME:-Microbiome Innovation in Nutrition and Health.”
My research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms of action of gut bacteria in immunological and metabolic disorders (obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc) and on developing microbiome‑based preventive and therapeutic strategies.
