About me

As Content Director of Conexiones Creativas (CC), a finalist for the prestigious UNESCO World Creative Economy Award in 2023, I'm deeply committed to strengthening creative ecosystems and cultural and creative districts (CCDs) across Latin America and Southern Europe. Since 2018 we have spearheaded the management, research, and incubation of CCDs. Our leadership of the Platform for Creative Districts, with its 44 members coming mostly from LATAM and its ten international encounters since 2020, further demonstrates this commitment.

My background as a contemporary art curator, cultural manager, editor, and researcher informs my work. Notably, I curated "El Acontecimiento" (2021-22), an artistic event designed to complement Colombia's Truth Commission report bridging art and social impact. I've held leadership roles as Artistic Director of both the LOOP Barcelona Festival and the Talking Galleries, and served as Curatorial Advisor for the LAIC project focused on inclusive cities. Prior to this, I was Chief Curator of the Museum of Antioquia and co-curated MDE11, an international arts meeting.
