REA provides specialist services for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, combining over twenty years of hands-on experience with technical research and advanced diagnostics.

Since 2007, we have worked on Italian cultural heritage, from medieval buildings and artworks to modern and contemporary heritage.

Our expertise covers the conservation of frescoes, painted surfaces, stone façades, architectural decorations and street art.

We carry out preliminary investigations, stratigraphic studies, diagnostic analyses and conservation assessments to understand materials, techniques and deterioration processes.

Based on these investigations, we develop tailored conservation protocols, defining the most appropriate materials, methods and procedures for each project.

Our services range from specialist consultancy and project development to complete on-site conservation works, including cleaning, consolidation, filling and pictorial retouching.

For complex architectural projects, we can integrate laser scanning, detailed surveys and technical documentation into the conservation process.

We have extensive experience in the conservation and consolidation of historic stone surfaces and façades dating from the 11th to the 20th century.

In recent years, we have also developed specific expertise in street art conservation, working in the United Kingdom and Ukraine.

Our projects include the conservation, consolidation and, when necessary, detachment and transfer of works by internationally recognized street artists, including C215 and Banksy.

Our work in Ukraine has also taken us into war-affected areas, where the preservation of artworks has a particularly strong cultural, historical and symbolic value for local communities.
