COMTES FHT is a private R&D company focusing on metallurgy, materials development, and testing. The company is based in Dobrany, Czech Republic.

As a technology service provider and accredited laboratory, we now work with over 100 research staff and technicians for well-known companies such as Apple, Volkswagen, Schaeffler and Doosan. We place great emphasis on practical solutions to technical problems. In our metallurgy laboratory, we can cast prototyping melts up to 500 kg and process them using forming and heat treatment technologies. In the field of additive manufacturing, we deal with the optimisation of forming and cutting tools and development of customised components. Our materials testing laboratory offers comprehensive services in the areas of light and scanning electron microscopy, mechanical testing and the determination of thermodynamic data of materials. We also carry out optimization of complex technological processes using computer simulation.
