Innovative manufacturing technologies
The reindustrialization of our manufacturing sectors in Europe is now necessary; companies will need to reinvent themselves to better position in a highly competitive global market. To achieve this, the manufacturing industry must focus on high-value-added activities and organize itself to produce more efficiently, quickly, with an exemplary level of quality, and while managing production costs. Furthermore, these companies have a crucial role to play in the green transition that Europe has embarked upon (both in terms of energy and circular economy).
The concept of process agility takes on its full meaning here, given the increasingly smaller production series and the need to create individual pieces right the first time, at the right price, and meeting the quality standards demanded by the market.
Innovative manufacturing technologies are one of the responses to these significant challenges for the manufacturing industry, and concrete examples will allow us to project ourselves into the future.
