Materia Nova is recognized as a technological accelerator of sustainable innovations in the field of new Advanced materials, functionalized surfaces, and manufacturing processes. Materia Nova's approach is based on open and collaborative innovation articulated around five services: Customized product development, Engineering and industrialization, Analysis and Characterization, Life Cycle Thinking, Project Development and Management. Materia Nova offers partnership with small, medium, or large companies facilitates the technological transfer from the academic to the industrial world. This transfer helps companies to test in a real environment the solutions brought by the research, from lab to pilot scale, before industrialization.  Active in many sectors of activity, we focus our efforts on themes that are in line with the Walloon S3 philosophy and the UN's sustainable development objectives, and in particular on those that accelerate decarbonization, minimize waste and toxicity, protect health by reducing risk and contribute to increase performance and lifetime while promoting sobriety. These resulting innovation should benefit everyone, generating positive impacts both locally and internationally.
