The Batumi State Maritime Academy (BSMA) is Georgia's internationally accredited higher education institution dedicated to the maritime sciences. Located in the historic port city of Batumi, BSMA serves as a critical educational hub for the Black and Caspian Sea regions. The Academy is committed to training highly competitive, world-class specialists for the global merchant fleet and maritime transport infrastructure, operating in full compliance with the International STCW Convention and national educational standards.

Academic Structure & Faculties-BSMA offers diverse programs across three main levels: Vocational, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees. The educational framework is divided into three primary faculties: Maritime Faculty; Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Business and Management; Vocational Training Center.
