AMAP is the operational agency of the Marche Regional Authority that supports the implementation of regional programming strategies in the agri-food and fisheries sectors. Acting as a liaison between the institutional,technical, scientific,socio-economic actors,AMAP provides an array of services for the valorization and competitiveness of regional primary sector for innovation uptake and speed-up, technological and non-technological transfer,knowledge and best practices exchange in line with the Green Deal and Blue economy strategies. AMAP has 7 Departments where more than 90 employees work and which cover different thematic competences such as biodiversity preservation, valorisation ofquality agri-food and fisheries production, microbiological, chemical-physical, and sensory analyses, EU projects development and implementation. AMAP has a multi-year’s experiences in managing EU projects dealing with agri-food and fisheries topics. Both providing external support to the Regional Authority and acting as a full partner, the Agency has been involved in numerous projects ranging from the agri-food to the fisheries and aquaculture topics.
