About
The Southwest Hungarian Engineering Cluster was established in 2011 and is authorized to use the National Accredited Cluster title and ownership of the ESCA Silver Label Certificate. The Cluster is the largest grouped organization throughout the region, in respect to more than 500 Mio EUR annual revenues and a Cluster membership numbering 6000 employees with their 51 members.
Our cluster portfolio encapsulates the entire spectrum with regards to contemporary forms of the engineering industry, spanning from metal processing and production, mechanical engineering through machine production, vehicle superstructure manufacturing, cutting components production, on-site commissioning, maintenance of complete technological mechanical system to automation services, industry 4.0 solutions, sensor technology and education.
The activities of Cluster Members include :
- metal processing product manufacturing (the manufacturing of automotive industry milled components, steel structures, electro-filter casings, rollingchain tracks, mechanical safety technology equipment, engine and generator casings, instrument casings),
- installation and maintenance of complete technological systems, electric device manufacturing (sensors, consumption meter boxes, control and regulator devices),
-machine manufacturing, mechanical equipment manufacturing (food processing technologies, welded crane components, fireplaces, cogwheels, painting technology equipment, motors andfans, galvanization and sewage treatment equipment) and
- motor vehicle manufacturing (aluminium silo vehicles, communal motor vehicle superstructures), as well as
-advanced engineering vocational training, interest representation and laboratory services.
