Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) is a leading public entrepreneurial university based in Hebron, West Bank, founded in 1978 by the University Graduates Union (UGU) as a technical engineering school . It gained university status in 1999 with its first bachelor’s programs, introduced master’s degrees in 2006, and launched its PhD in Information Technology in 2018

Academic system:

Semester-based credit system with 16 weeks + an active summer term.

Bachelor degrees require ~132 credits (168 for engineering); diploma ~72 credits over four semesters

Language: Primarily English in technical/scientific courses, alongside Arabic .
