About me
With over 16 years of experience in management and project realization at both national and international levels, I bring a comprehensive and strategic approach to leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
For the past 12 years, I have served as the Latvian Food Cluster Manager, leading initiatives with international projects, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and support the growth of the food sector.
In parallel, I have accumulated 9 years of experience in the management of innovations and cascade funding as the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Food Competence Centre. In this role, I have overseen the strategic direction of innovation-driven projects, ensuring efficient use of funding and alignment with industry needs.
As a co-founder and Chairperson of the Latvian Clusters Network, I have actively contributed to the development of cluster policy, facilitated cross-sector collaboration, and represented Latvian clusters in international forums.
My participation in the Swedish Institute's Baltic Leadership Programme for Cluster Managers further strengthened my leadership capabilities and broadened my perspective on regional cooperation and sustainable cluster development.
