About me
Ovidiu Cîmpean is a member of the Chamber of Deputies in the Romanian Parliament, Vice President of the Committee for European Affairs, and a member of both the Committee for Health and Family and the Committee for Education.
With over 15 years of experience, Ovidiu Cîmpean has worked in the field of local development and European funds within the Cluj-Napoca City Hall. Between 2022 and 2024, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Investments and European Projects.
Ovidiu Cîmpean holds a PhD in International Relations and European Studies from Babeș-Bolyai University.
At the national level, he initiated and coordinated the M100 Hub - Mirror Mission Cities, aimed at supporting the implementation of the EU Mission objective “100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030” in Romania.
