About me
Between 2009 and 2017, he established and led the team of the Northern Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) in the Republic of Moldova. ADR Nord was a pioneer in regional development, as well as a leader in attracting investments and creating sustainable international partnerships that continue to bring benefits to the region.
From 2007 to 2011, he contributed to the city of Bălți as a municipal councilor în Moldova's second-largest city.
Ion Bodrug firmly believes that with persistence and motivation, one can achieve remarkable results for the country.Ion BODRUG is the president and founder of the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI), established in 2019 and dynamically developed since its inception.
In 2021, ACETI created the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova in collaboration with several national and international companies.
In 2025 DIH of Moldova passed the national process of identification of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) in the Republic of Moldova.
As Vice President of the Strategic Institutional Development Council of Alecu Russo State University for almost eight years, he was part of the group of initiators and promoters of the creation of Nortek Innovation and Technology Transfer Center in Balti city.
As President of ACETI, Ion Bodrug was recognized and awarded at the Brilliance Minds Gala 2022, as Bitdefender Ambassador 2022 and at the PIN Magazine Awards 2022.
