About

NeuroKlinik – German Center for Neurology is a specialised neurological clinic based in Yerevan, Armenia. Our work is centred on people with neurological conditions and on providing high-quality, evidence-based neurological care.

The clinic was founded by Dr. Sargis Abrahamyan, a German-trained neurologist and neuroscientist with extensive clinical and academic experience in Germany, who also serves as an trusted/proxy doctor of the German Embassy in Armenia. His experience and close connection with the German medical environment have helped shape NeuroKlinik’s approach to modern neurological care and its commitment to bringing clinical practice and science closer together.

We are also taking an important next step by developing clinical research as a stronger part of our work. Our aim is to create an environment where everyday clinical experience can generate meaningful research questions and where research can, in turn, improve the care we provide to our patients.

Our growing research interests are focused on neurology and neuroscience, particularly neurological and neurodegenerative diseases. We are interested in research that can improve our understanding of disease progression, diagnosis, treatment and patient outcomes.

International collaboration is an important part of this vision. We would like to connect with researchers, universities, hospitals and other organisations across Europe, exchange knowledge and develop research projects together. We are particularly interested in long-term partnerships, multi-centre studies and opportunities to participate in Horizon Europe projects.

As our research activities grow, we hope to make NeuroKlinik a valuable clinical and research partner and to build stronger connections between Armenia and the wider European research community.
