HYPERION ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED

Led by HYPERION ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INC. (Türkiye), this EUREKA project aims to develop a groundbreaking quantum-based thermo-acoustic device for cancer screening and pre-diagnosis. The project will detect biomechanical properties (stiffness, viscoelasticity) and thermal signatures of healthy and cancerous cells at the microscopic level by integrating high-frequency acoustic waves with highly sensitive quantum sensors. Offering three core innovations over late-diagnosing or invasive methods like MRI, CT, and biopsy: extracting mechanical properties from acoustic data, imaging thermal emissions with quantum sensors, and building a signature database for cancerous/healthy cells. The target is to progress from TRL 2-3 to TRL 4-5. The 36-month project has a total budget of €2-2.5M, with a max of €500K for the Turkish partner. We seek partners from Germany/Netherlands/Switzerland/Israel/UK for thermal microscopy, Nordic/Germany/France for quantum sensors, and any EUREKA country for SAW acoustics. Expected outputs: a prototype device, at least 2 international patents, and a biomechanical/thermal database. Currently, 2 national and 1 international patent exist.
