Hellenic Cancer Federation - ELLOK, Hellenic Cancer Mission Hub

The Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK) is the official secondary-level body representing cancer patient organisations in Greece. Established in 2015, ELLOK brings together 53 member organisations from across the country, representing people affected by all types of cancer, including common, rare and paediatric cancers.

ELLOK is a non-profit association governed by an elected Board of Directors and works to strengthen the voice, rights and participation of people affected by cancer in health policy and cancer care.

Through its national network and its role as Greece’s National Cancer Mission Hub, ELLOK connects patient organisations with healthcare professionals, researchers, public authorities, policymakers and other stakeholders. Its areas of interest include cancer prevention and early detection, patient-centred care, survivorship, quality of life, psycho-oncology and mental health, digital health and health literacy, inequalities in cancer care, and meaningful patient involvement in research and innovation.

ELLOK is particularly interested in European and international cooperation that can translate evidence, research and innovation into practical improvements for patients and their families.
