About
TUBITAK Marmara Research Center (TUBITAK MRC) offers complementary expertise for Horizon Europe Cancer Mission and Cluster Health consortia in the functional validation and therapeutic targeting of novel cancer-associated molecular targets.
Our expertise includes phage-display-based discovery of fully human scFvs and bioactive peptides, recombinant antibody engineering and production, molecular target validation, protein–protein interaction studies, cancer signalling, and functional assessment using molecular, cellular and 2D/3D cancer models.
We are particularly interested in contributing to projects in which novel cancer targets are identified through functional genomics, multi-omics, bioinformatics or systems biology and require subsequent experimental validation and translation into therapeutic strategies.
Our potential contribution can cover the translational pipeline from target prioritisation and functional validation to antibody/scFv or peptide discovery, recombinant production and cell-based functional assessment of therapeutic candidates.
We have particular research experience in glioblastoma and molecular oncology, combined with expertise in antibody and peptide technologies.
This expertise is particularly relevant to HORIZON-MISS-2027-02-CANCER-01 – Leveraging functional genomics to reveal novel targets for cancer treatment, as well as other Cancer Mission and Cluster Health topics requiring target validation and biologics development.
We welcome invitations to join emerging consortia as a research partner and to contribute to relevant tasks or work packages.
