About
The Center of Medical Oncology at VULSK has strong capabilities in clinical oncology research and participation in national and international clinical trials. The Centre provides access to specialized expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of rare and complex cancers through multidisciplinary clinical teams. Its close collaboration with translational research groups, biobanks, pathology services, and molecular diagnostics facilities supports biomarker-driven approaches and personalized treatment strategies. The Centre is interested in contributing to early-phase clinical trials evaluating innovative therapies, targeted treatments, and multi-modal interventions for patients with rare cancers. Participation in Horizon Europe consortia would enable the Centre to advance precision oncology, improve treatment options for underserved patient populations, and accelerate the translation of research findings into clinical practice.
