About
Project Title: Quantum Imaging-Based Acoustic-Holographic Cancer Screening and Pre-Diagnosis Device.
1. Executive Summary: Cancer diagnosed early has higher survival rates, but current methods (colonoscopy, CT, biopsy) are invasive, costly, and unsuitable for mass screening. Hyperion Advanced Technology Inc., founded in 2022, is developing a non-invasive, high-sensitivity device integrating photonics, acoustics, thermal imaging, and AI for early cancer detection. Initially targeting colorectal cancer, it detects biomechanical and thermal cellular abnormalities, enabling intervention before structural changes appear. This reduces treatment costs and improves patient survival and quality of life.
2. Technology: Our device uses a micro-structured multi-array transducer to send high-frequency acoustic waves to cells. Scattered acoustic waves and holographic phase shifts provide biomechanical data. Advanced quantum sensors detect micro-scale, low-intensity thermal emissions with millikelvin sensitivity. AI (Machine Learning/Deep Learning) algorithms analyze these multimodal data against large data banks to deliver a risk score and preliminary diagnosis to clinicians in real-time.
3. Competitive Advantages: We offer earlier detection, non-invasive application, cost-effectiveness, AI-driven objectivity, and scalability for mass screening. No direct commercial competitor currently offers a fully integrated multimodal cancer screening device, positioning Hyperion as a first-mover with strong patent potential (1 national and 1 international patent applied, with 2 more planned).
4. Project Objectives for EU Calls: We aim to develop a functional prototype, optimize AI models with clinical data, conduct preclinical and multi-center clinical trials, prepare FDA/CE regulatory compliance files, and establish scalable manufacturing partnerships for market entry.
5. Partnership Search: We are seeking international partners with expertise in clinical oncology, biomedical engineering, microfluidics, AI/big data analytics, and quantum technologies. We bring strong IP, established R&D infrastructure, and deep expertise in optics, photonics, acoustics, modeling, and system integration. We invite partners to join us for the EUROKA BIOTECHNOLOGY call, Horizon Europe, and other EU programs to co-develop this breakthrough technology and revolutionize early cancer detection globally.
