About
We are seeking partners to implement project in cancer nutrigenomics. It investigates how dietary components interact with genetic, epigenetic, metabolic, and transcriptomic pathways involved in cancer initiation, progression, and response to treatment. By integrating whole-genome and whole-exome sequencing, targeted NGS, RNA-seq, DNA methylation profiling, and metabolomics, it may be possible to identify molecular determinants of individual responses to specific nutrients and dietary patterns. Such studies could provide new insights into pathways associated with inflammation, oxidative stress, DNA damage and repair, immune regulation, and tumour metabolism. In the longer term, these approaches could contribute to the development of personalized nutritional strategies that complement conventional cancer prevention and treatment. Our existing genomics and sequencing infrastructure could support the molecular characterization of patient cohorts and the identification of biomarkers associated with dietary response and disease progression.
