Patient-specific iPSC biobanking for disease modeling and precision medicine

About
We are interested in developing a collaborative patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) biobanking platform that connects deeply characterized patient-derived cellular models with genomic, multi-omics and clinical information.
The concept is to establish collections of patient-specific iPSC lines representing defined genetic variants, molecular subtypes and clinical phenotypes. These resources could be differentiated into disease-relevant cell types and used for mechanistic studies, functional validation of genetic variants, biomarker research, drug screening and evaluation of individualized therapeutic strategies.
A particular interest is the integration of iPSC-derived phenotypes with whole-genome or exome sequencing, transcriptomics, single-cell data and longitudinal clinical information. Such datasets could provide a powerful biological layer for AI-based disease modeling and the development and validation of patient-specific digital twins.
The platform could support research in cancer, rare genetic diseases and other complex disorders, while providing experimentally tractable models for investigating inter-individual variability in disease mechanisms and treatment response.
We can contribute genomic and transcriptomic characterization, next-generation sequencing, multi-omics bioinformatics and molecular characterization of patient-derived samples. We are seeking partners with established expertise in somatic-cell reprogramming, iPSC culture and quality control, directed differentiation, organoids, genome editing, high-content phenotyping, biobanking and disease-specific clinical cohorts.
The long-term aim is to create standardized, data-rich patient-specific cellular resources suitable for precision medicine research and multi-center collaborative studies.
