The Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is an independent, non-profit organisation based in Jordan. It works with ministries of health, healthcare providers, academic institutions and international partners to improve healthcare quality, patient safety and access to care in Jordan and across the region.
HCAC develops healthcare standards, conducts national situational assessments and facility-level evaluations, and leads the design, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement programmes. Its experience includes supporting accreditation readiness at 26 Ministry of Health primary healthcare centers across 10 governorates in Jordan. HCAC also conducts and contributes to applied research, working with partners on study design, data collection, analysis and programme evaluation.
HCAC seeks to join Horizon Europe consortia as a research and implementation partner. We can lead assessments and field implementation in Jordan, coach healthcare teams, and evaluate how interventions affect access, quality, safety and continuity of care. We welcome collaboration on chronic disease prevention and management for children and young people, health system resilience and climate adaptation, digital health and clinical decision support, and inclusive care for people with disabilities. We are also open to regional collaboration where it aligns with the consortium’s objectives.
