Instituto Superior Técnico

Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) is the School of Engineering, Science and Technology of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Founded in 1911, it is one of the country's leading institutions for higher education, scientific research and technological innovation.

Técnico brings together a multidisciplinary academic and research community working across engineering, physical and natural sciences, architecture and technology. Its research ecosystem comprises 25 research units, bringing together expertise, laboratories and scientific infrastructures to address challenges through fundamental and applied research.
