UAB Isences is a Lithuanian biomedical engineering and MedTech company focused on the research, development, and commercialization of innovative medical devices, advanced biosensors, and functional rehabilitation technologies.

The company is advancing two R&D projects:

1. Isences® TMD Physio Care™ – Innovative Jaw Rehabilitation Technology

A CE-marked Class I medical device designed to support controlled jaw mobility, progressive muscle strengthening, and functional rehabilitation in individuals with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). The technology incorporates an innovative inflatable biomechanical system that enables adjustable resistance and guided mandibular movement. Ongoing R&D focuses on biomechanical optimization, clinical validation, and the development of personalised rehabilitation approaches.

2. BiosensePro – Stretchable Implantable Biosensor Platform

An innovative, minimally invasive, non-intravascular stretchable biosensor prototype designed for long-term, continuous blood pressure and pulse monitoring. The technology integrates strechable electronics, advanced functional materials, and wireless data transmission. Initial in vivo validation in a large-animal model has demonstrated the feasibility of continuous cardiovascular monitoring. Further R&D aims to advance sensor performance, biocompatibility, long-term reliability, and AI-supported cardiovascular data analysis.

Horizon Europe Collaboration Interests

Isences seeks collaboration within Horizon Europe Cluster 1 Health, particularly in:

• Innovative healthcare interventions for non-communicable diseases.

• AI-based predictive biomarkers for chronic disease progression and treatment response.

• Rehabilitation technologies supporting functional recovery, independent living, and quality of life.

• Advanced medical devices, implantable biosensors, biomedical engineering, and translational research.

  We welcome partnerships with universities, research organisations, hospitals, clinical research centres, and MedTech companies for collaborative R&D, preclinical and clinical validation, AI integration, technology development, and commercialisation.

  Isences is particularly interested in joining Horizon Europe research consortia as a technology development and innovation partner, contributing expertise in medical device engineering, stretchable biosensor technologies, and functional rehabilitation solutions.
